Electoral Justice

Election Day should be fair and free for all. In many instances it is not. Because Election Day is still not fair for all, especially the poor and for people of color, New Democracy Coalition strives to advocate on behalf of voters who encounter injustice on Election Day.

It is estimated that more than 1 million African-American votes were lost or stolen in the 2000 presidential election according to the Civil Rights Commission. Additionally, the 2004 presidential election resulted in widespread voter suppression, according to a U.S. Congressional report released by Congressman John Conyers. CLICK HERE:

The Electoral Justice Project (EJP) seeks to make the playing field level for all and ensure democracy for all. In accordance with the 13th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which guarantees the right to vote to all citizens, we are committed to the reality that voting is a sacred civic right.
